"The good - view off the deck was spectacular! Grills in back with fire starters is a nice touch. Suite was nice sized, and we really enjoyed the gas fireplace. The not so good - bedroom was cramped and mattress was not comfortable and squeaked. Was supposed to be a king, but was a queen. Microwave was broken, but they replaced it promptly. Gift shop is sparse - pick up whatever you need before you come."

"The room was very comfortable, powerful air conditioning and comfortable bed. Staff were not warm or welcoming for the majority of our stay, but provided all information upon check-in. Don’t bother with the breakfast. golden has some amazing places to eat. The Legends diner across the road and Island restaurant were fantastic."

"Fantastic hotel! We had the efficiency room with jetted tub and it was beautiful! Stunning huge balcony overlooking the mountains, a little table and chairs, huge room with full kitchen and table and couch. Huge jetted tub. Huge shower. Wonderful stay. The staff were able to give me a late check-out too which was incredibly appreciated!"

"We loved this hotel! It is perfectly located near Lake Louise. The rooms are extremely spacious with a full kitchen, living room, working fireplace and balcony. The property also had the most gorgeous flower landscaping!"

"This hotel is excellent! From the moment you arrive the staff are amazing. Leo the driver is so knowledgeable when taking you around town. The rooms are fab, having an open fire was luxurious and a nice surprise. Loved everything about the room and food in the main restaurant"

"Amazing location. We stayed in the main lodge, but there are separate cabins. The view of the nearby moutains is incredible. The lodge is off-grid, but they generate their own power. There is a river within walking distance. An artesian spring bubbles up from the parking area. The water in the area is blue from minerals. It's right in the heart of the Rockies near Golden, BC. It's well worth the visit. Staff is helpful and accommodating. We had a nice chat with the manager."
