Das Schloss Fantaisie (südliche Seite, Parkseite) steht etwa fünf Kilometer von Bayreuth, in Eckersdorf-Donndorf. Erbaut wurde das Schloss von 1761 bis 1765. 1850/52 wurde es in seiner noch heute bestehenden Form umgebaut. Im Schlossgebäude befindet sich das im Jahr 2000 eingerichtete, erste Gartenkunstmuseum Deutschlands. Betreut wird das Schloss von der Bayerischen Schlösserverwaltung.

Die Burg Zwernitz wurde im Jahre 1156 erstmals erwähnt. Sie liegt in der zur Gemeinde Wonsees gehörenden Ortschaft Sanspareil in Oberfranken. Seit dem Jahr 1745 ist sie Bestandteil des Felsengartens Sanspareil.
