"The LaJolla is a throw back to motor hotels from mid last century. The facility is on the gulf side and has a gorgeous view from its small

area. It has a lot of stuff for visitors, a shave the weather precluded our use. Islamorada is quiet, but there is plenty to do. It would be great in the summer, but only okay in the cooler winter."

"The villas are lovely, comfortable beds, lots of room and the pool area is great plus access to amenities at the islander hotel is a great bonus, lovely pools and

My only negatives were we were in villa 102 and the road noise in the back bedroom was very loud, also the back bedroom needs curtains, it only had a Venetian blind and it was too light with the street lamps outside. Otherwise we loved this place and all the amazing staff who were so friendly."

"We had a great time here. Great for the kids to swim, run around and also be

side and play in a sand box. Live music in the evenings was a big hit and the food was excellent on site at every restaurant. Downsides- I thought the pool area could use an upgrade (lounge chairs and things are old and could be so much more beautiful) and when trying to coordinate kids activities and sitters, they were not helpful at all and the people at the kid area were young and not very good at customer...
