"Our stay at the Carlton House was pleasant. The owner was accommodating when I realized we would b on the 2nd floor and would have difficulty climbing the stairs. She quickly made arrangements with first floor accommodation as well as handicap parking right in of front of our apt. The grounds were nice with a pool and several sitting areas along with gas grills. It was a short walk (aprox 3 min walk to the beautiful Upham beach on St. Pete. Several restaurants within walking distance. Thanks again to the owners as well as housekeeping for replenishing and keeping out apt clean daily. ☺️"

"Room had chocolate smear on curtains and on dishcloth by sink and chocolate piece on floor Bed sheet looked like it had been laid in gross "

"Room wasn't ready at 4. We had a hard day and we both are handicapped. They asked to switch us to another room that was ready and comparable. I asked if still ocean view and they said yes. Got to room, NO OCEAN VIEW!! Only view was of courtyard. We were too tired to ask to be moved again. We were very upset as this was a special trip and had not seen each other in 40 yrs!"

"The room was 1.5 hrs late for check-in but they credited us $50 at the restaurant to which we didn’t get a chance to use. There were no wash cloths or hand towels in the room, only regular shower towels."
