"Nice location near the main areas of downtown La Crosse"

"The Hatchery is a lovely place to stay. Located on the Mississippi River, we had such a good time walking on the paths and looking at wildlife, especially the eagles. Our hosts were very accommodating and gave us great advice on places to eat & fun things to check out in the area. We would definitely stay here again when traveling to Lacrosse. "Great room and staff. Hotel’s parking lot was limited due to renovations but they had an arrangement with a near by parking ramp. Breakfast looked amazing - we only had coffee which was delicious. Loved the location too."

"It's a dive motel but it was clean and the showers had good water pressure. The bed and pillows were comfortable as well. There was a little smell of stale cigarette smoke but that's typical of somewhere this inexpensive. If you really want to save money, this place is an acceptable option for visiting La Crosse."
