"A city hotel so you don’t expect a big room but this was bigger than a lot of city rooms I’ve stayed in. Comfy, clean bed in a nice room. We paid extra for a balcony and I wish we’d not bothered, very tiny with a terrible table you couldn’t stand a drink on, presume just an option for smokers, not relaxation, wouldn’t have bothered, had we known as we don’t smoke. Bathroom door was broken and taped and you could only shut it by slamming it which was a bit annoying but the bathroom was clean and had all you needed. Parking was a bit of a nightmare, not attached to the hotel, a little way away and because there was only a few keys, you had to get one from reception, go to the garage, retrieve your car then drive back to the hotel, double park outside which wasn’t the safest whilst running the key back in, then you had to repeat it in reverse when you returned. Staff were very nice and friendly but please refill the vending machines, they were empty except for 3 bottles of desperados the whole week! I’d highly recommend the Italian restaurant Ristorante Cavallino just a few steps away. Authentic delicious food served by lovely people at a reasonable price. Probably won’t return to Stuttgart but if we did, I’d still stay here again."

"This is my favorite hotel in Stuttgart! The location can't be beat - right off the Koenigstrasse (the main shopping drag). The breakfast buffet will blow your mind! Everything from nice german rolls, cheese and lunch meat at another level, to smoked salmon and accoutrements to cereal and yogurt. Eggs and coffee are ordered at the table. The staff is friendly and knowledgeble and will answer any questions you can think of. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms cleaner; everything is stowed away in nooks & crannies in the German way - no space wasted."
