Short stay enroute to home

Spent a miserable night in the hotel. We arrived around 10pm. Check in went smooth, room was as requested on ground floor. Room was very basic not sure where the 4 stars from. There was no AC or even a fan, for the three of us it was hell all night. We left the door open but no help as mosquitoes happily fed on us. All in all a terrible experience for us, we were glad it was one night only. Service was good so thank you for that in any case.

We hadden familie kamer geboekt voor 4 volwassenen, 1 tiener en de hond. Dit zijn 2 losse kamers met een eigen afgesloten gangetje ertussen. Personeel is heel vriendelijk, het zijn mooie grote kamers, er is een uitstekend ontbijt. Goede parkeergelegenheid direct naast hotel. Extra bed was nogal hard. Geen waterkoker en geen airco of ventilator, de ramen kunnen wel open dus dat helpt. Prijs bij boeken was me niet duidelijk, moest nog nabetalen voor 1 extra bed en 1 ontbijt.

Das Hotel ist gut gelegen und verfügt über moderne und saubere Zimmer. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Es gibt zwei Dinge, die unseren Urlaub in diesem Haus sehr getrübt haben. Es gibt einen elektronischen Wecker, der nicht vom Strom genommen werden kann. Dieser hat uns nachts 2x geweckt. Schlaftrunken bekommt man das Ding auch nicht gleich aus. Dadurch war die erste Nacht eine Katastrophe. So etwas kann natürlich immer mal passieren. Ich hätte mir hier von den Besitzern ein kleine Entschuldigung in Form von einem frei Getränk gewünscht. Das kostet Pfennige, hat jedoch eine große Wirkung. Der Clou war dann die Rechnung. Wir hatten online gebucht für ein Doppelzimmer für 2 Personen mit Frühstück. Wir hatten den Preis schwarz auf weis! Uns wurde jedoch der offizielle Hotelpreis abkassiert. Es waren nur 30 Euro... jedoch kam ich mir veralbert vor. So etwas habe ich auch noch nicht erlebt. Bin seit 25 Jahren 20-30 mal in Hotels in Deutschland unterwegs. Auch hier hätte ich mir ein Entgegenkommen des Hotels gewünscht. Zumal es in privater Hand ist. Der Chef und Chefin waren sehr nett, es ist echt Schade das hier einfach über Kundenprobleme hinweg geschaut wurde. Ich möchte das Haus nicht schlecht machen, das wäre auch nicht gerechtfertigt, aber vielleicht lesen die Inhaber ja diese Kritik und denken mal darüber nach, wie sie sich gefühlt hätten in unserer Situation und reagieren das nächste Mal anders.
