"They said the cooker was broken however we feel that they should have had someone to repair it asap. We understood there was no Tv or wifi but in this day and age anything is possible even if you have to raise the price. We were not told about electricity that it was a key meter it was only when an alarm was going off we traced it to electric box to find there was only 50p left on it we put key on and it added another £15 which went nowhere these are very expensive devices. "Nice warm home . Breakfast is very without protein. Clean room . Had trouble with the shower . Inconsistent temperature . Perhaps instructions needed for the use of instant water heater ."

Harbour House Bed & Breakfast

"We really liked Harbour House where we stayed for one night before catching the ferry to Stornoway. Finding the place is easy and there is plenty of parking on site. On arrival we were given a very friendly welcome from the receptionist. Our room was spotlessly clean, well maintained and comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast next morning was excellent and all the staff were friendly and helpful. If we had known how pleasant Ullapool is, we would have stayed longer!"

"This was a pleasant overnight stay in the beautiful remote Stoer peninsula. The owners were attentive. Room was a little small but absolutely fine for an overnight stay. It needs to he said that the food was excellent and the bar reasonably well stocked. Breakfast offered a good choice and the chef even provided Lorn sausage on request. Not an easy task running a hotel in this remote corner of NW Scotland. We enjoyed our stay."

"Incredible property the room was above and beyond our expectations. Clawfoot tub, coffee bar, the best bed and lovely hosts. Walking distance to Ullapool. We wished we had stayed for two nights. Very thoughtful touches to the room and our stay. We hope to be back one day!"
