"I really like the location and vibe, except the loud 1980s music was annoying. The bed was comfortable and the water was hot. The food downstairs at Druzi Cafe was very delicious, but a bit pricey. However, their lattes were lukewarm and served in a soda glass with a straw. Definitely weird… Unfortunately, during my entire 5-night stay there, my room was not cleaned a single time, and my sheets and towel were never replaced. In addition something bit the heck out of me. "I was doing a volunteer work and I was looking for someplace inexpensive. Cause everything was coming out of my pocket. This had a kitchand share it back, which I'm used to which was no problem and they had plenty of facility. Is a little run down, but it's extremely inexpensive and it's an excellent excellent value. People seem nice felt safe"

Excellent location close to everything (a few min walk to the nearest metro station "Arkhitektora Beketova", 10 min walk to the Opera House and Schevchenko Park, there are also a few fast food restaurants including McDonald's nearby). The hostel staff was friendly and helpful and the price per night was very reasonable! I've stayed at many hostels in Europe and Asia and this one is one of the best!"
