"This could be something so special. The location itself is amazing and the accommodation for ‘camping’ is incredible. The service wasn’t great however. As kind as everyone was the timings were very off. Being told we needed to be ready for breakfast at 8 and not being served till 9.30. The same for dinner. "Amazing experience with safari booked via this stay. The hotel is located in the jungle of udawalawe and the hosts were absolutely lovely. A lot of food options just ten minutes walk as well. Only issue was the chanting on a megaphone which was very loud which started at 4am until 6am and monkeys jumping up and down and running across the roof so I didn’t manage to get much sleep!"

"The staff were incredibly attentive, the pool was well maintained and fantastic addition. Prices for food and beverages extremely competitive. The food was some of the best we have had in Srilanka. Close to both the national park and transit home. Clean room and modern bathroom but lacked sockets for charging items."

"My parents were there to celebrate my dad’s birthday, and although we celebrated a little late, they had such a wonderful experience. Quoting my dad “The birthday arrangement was beautiful, the cake was lovely, and the famous DoubleTree cookie was the best. The breakfast and dinner buffets were both excellent, and the amenities were exceptional.” What really stood out to them was the warmth and attention to detail throughout their stay. My mum still can’t stop complimenting the food; my parents have travelled all around Sri Lanka and tried many different cuisines, so coming from them, that is actually really huge to hear! Next time I’m in Lanka, I already know where my first stop will be. 10/10 for such a great stay!"

"We were stunned by everything at Jetwing Kaduruketha. Our Villa was perfect. Spotlessly clean with a gorgeous view over the paddy fields. The service was unobtrusive but excellent. The food exceptional and our butler (who we called Can Do because he could do everything) was special. We will long remember him and his smile. We learned that most of the staff come from the local village & you could feel their happiness & camaraderie in being there. We cycled to the village where the local shopkeeper insisted on giving us a coconut from his garden and visited the local Buddhist monastery where we were also made very welcome. We walked & saw incredible birds with our guide. The peacocks, land monitors & weaver birds were all around us. If only every hotel could be as exceptional as this one is."
