"Taj Palace is definitely a good place to visit to enjoy the view and also see the old palace. However, the stay at the hotel is a shear waste unless you are looking for old rooms with old beds and bathrooms. The hotel has upgraded all the lights to LED to save power, but did not spend a dime on upgrading the bathrooms which are very old. They are in no way antique because guest rooms were constructed by Taj. So upgrading them won't make a difference. As expected the prices at the restaurant were...
