Family friendly Hotels in Ubungo, Dar es Salaam

"The rooms are spacious but can do with some renovation. The wooden rails at the balcony are rotten and can break if one leans on them. For a 4 star hotel there should be provision of dental kit and plenty of coffee and tea sachets for room refreshments. There was not even a glass of welcome juice on checking in. Breakfast is pathetic with minimal variety. The buffet breakfast does not qualify even for 3 star rating. A visit to Golden Tulip City centre for benchmarking is what I would encourage. The hotel was largely empty yet at booking time the impression was that only 2 rooms we remaining. Actually on other sites the hotel was reported as full. All in all the location is good and the hotel can do with some major renovations and relaunch."
