We had a nice stay for one night before a long hike. The place is clean and comfortable. While it is overdue a renovation it is modest and adequate. Town is non-existent so look at dinner options in advance.

A\C and kitchenette and hot water excellent. We checked in after office hours and the owner came out to help us. I loved the rustic, moose and bear decor in the room. I also loved that they did not put any artifical air fragance in the room. The room smelled clean on its own and I hate when hotels try to fragance a room. We had a great stay and climbed 2 5000 ft mountains

Beds were broken, dirty bedsheets and blankets. Cobwebs around beds, drawers. Toilet is children size. Towels were dirty and many years old. The owner lives on the property in adjacent building. He warned that if you arrive after 8:00 pm there would not be anybody to check you in or give you keys. Checkout is 10:00 am. If you have children, do not stay at this place as it is quite rundown, dirty. It is a place for people who just want to crash for the night and not worry about clean bed, bed sheets or towels Not worth the room rate of $140/night.
