"This hotel is a very clean and well-maintained property just a few minutes’ walk from the Hauptbahnhof (central train station). Rooms are small but square footage is posted in each room description (Americans; multiply the square meters by 10 to get approximate square footage). Breakfast is a typical German continental breakfast with a myriad of options and a comfortable room. There is a 24-hour self paid snack and drink station in the lobby. My only concern was the location, which is a little over a block from the major roads fronting the train station. The road has several youth hostels and entrances to parking garages, so walking at night may not feel fully safe, and there is a little bit of garbage and occasional whiffs of smoke and urine on the street. The inside of the hotel is constantly monitored and free from these inconveniences. I personally felt perfectly safe inside the hotel, safe during the day on the surrounding streets, and safe walking with another person outdoors after dark. I would unhesitatingly stay their again."

"The hotel staff are very friendly; however, the check‑in and check‑out processes are extremely slow. When we checked into the room, we noticed that both the AC and the fridge were not working. The staff were able to fix the AC the following day, but the fridge remained broken for the next five nights. The hotel has a laundry machine that works fine, but the dryer does not work."

"Very nice; very pleasant, had a great stay. But.. the location was frankly weird! The area around the hotel is full of dodgy men and loiterers eyeing you up. It's disconcerting. If you're a tourist, its better to be a bit nearer the main square - this is walkable, but its a bother doing it repeatedly. But certainly a perfectly fine hotel on the inside."
