On arrival the clerk was friendly but the motel was at least two decades past its need for renovation. Very basic place with adequate beds and noisy ac. That’s it. Can’t believe Wyndham allows its name and platform to be associated with this wayside overpriced hovel like place masquerading as an up to date basic motel for unsuspecting travelers.

Honest opinion, the hotel works great for a place to crash on a big game weekend. The staff was very friendly, but overall the hotel is nasty. The walls in our room hadn’t been cleaned in years, cigarette holes on our top sheets of the beds. The overall smell of the place was terrible. Water pressure was decent, beds weren’t bad but the overall experience was rough.

The room was as expected for a lower tier hotel. I have no complaints about the room. The "included" breakfast did not exist. The breakfast room was closed and locked. The pictures of this need to be removed from the Expedia discription. We heard that there was a brown bag consisting of a fruit cup and granola bar but never got one in a two night stay. We paid top dollar for this hotel on a date that the whole town was booked. I would have thought tey would have made an effort with the breakfast.

Great hotel

We stopped here on our way to gulf shores & the little boy at the desk was super friendly & accommodating! Our room was clean and nice! There was also breakfast! We really enjoyed our stay!

Our room was extremely dirty. The sink would not drain. Hairdryer was cracked and had pieces missing on it - would not run. Holes in the bedspread and blanket. Do not stay here!!!

Disappointing Stay in Tuscaloosa

I rented 2 rooms for Univ of Alabama's parents' weekend with my family. The bathrooms were dirty -- as in human filth. The beds were not firm at all, with noticeable sagging in the middle of each mattress. And to top it off, the housekeeper consistently smelled of freshly smoked cannabis when she'd clean. For $270 a night (gouging), very disappointing for a Wyndham product. It would have been disappointing for the usual $90 also. You've watered down your brand by buying Super 8.
