"This property worked well for the 4 of us (ages 65-72) who stayed for a week. We appreciated the space to store our luggage before our check-in. Kristin was helpful when we had questions. The location was great. Our only very minor criticism is that we wished we had been left more towels. We had a great time in Bergen!"

"Apartment itself was fine, wasn't the cleanest. However, the middle men agents that let this apartment are liars. Your emails via Expedia will go ignored, as will the messages and emails sent directly to dinbnb (despite stating they are a 24hr service!) - the customer service is non existent. The lights in the hallway within the building leading to the apartment did not work, which was extremely unsafe due to how dark it was- this was not fixed during the stay. "The hotel is nice and most people at the reception, restaurant and housekeepers are very polite and helpful. However I have also experienced that things asked would not be done even though promised to be fixed, for example filling empty body lotion bottle. I’ve been staying at this hotel over some years. "Pros: Excellent location, comfortable, plenty of space in the room, clean. All the things you look for in a nice hotel. Would stay here again and recommend it to friends. Only con: Like most other hotels we stayed at in Scandinavia, you can't control the A/C yourself. We generally solved this issue by opening the windows at night, but if you are a warm sleeper this is something to consider. It was not abnormally warm in the room so it was fine (especially with windows open in Sept), but if it's very important to you to sleep with the room very cold you may need to compromise a bit. "
