Everything as described

Really good stay. Everything was as described and that is why I rate with 4 stars. This is located in street what is quiet (no bars outside etc.)

Yhden yön yöpyminen Hostel Harriet

Yhteishuoneen varasin, kätevästi sain muutettua huoneen yksin itselleni. Huone oli sopivan viileä. Majoituspaikkaan oli helppo löytää ja sisälle pääsy mutkatonta! :)

Harriet hostellin majoitusarvio

Kiitos, pidimme majoituksesta. Meille oli tärkeä levätä muutama tunti laivareissun jälkeen. Aamulla oli aikainen lähtö junaan. Juna- asema aivan lähellä. Tämä oli tärkein kriteeri samoin majapaikan rauhallisuus. Huonoa oli pyyhkeiden puuttuminen. Vuodevaatteet olivat siistit. Wc ja kylpyhuone olivat käytävällä aivan vieressä.

Sisäänkirjaus oli helppoa myöskin saapuessani huoneet olivat selvästä merkattu. Hintaluokkaan nähden hostel huone oli ihan viihtyisä ja halpa. Tykkäsin majoituksestani ja sänky oli erittäin mukava nukkua.

Sisäänkirjautumisen alkaessa paikalla ei ollut ketään henkilökunnasta ja lähes puoli tuntia hotellin numeroon soittamisen jälkeen paikalle tuli henkilö luovuttamaan avaimia. Vessassa oli vain vessapaperirullan jämät ja huoneen saippuapullo oli tyhjä. Ei verhoa ikkunassa. Huone suhteellisen siisti.

Kaksi yötä DBTL-viikonloppuna.

Perus hostelli. Kallis tasoonsa nähden. Huone oli siistin oloinen ja vuoteissa puhtaat lakanat. Televisiota tai radiota ei huoneessa ollut. Ilmastointia ei havaittu, paitsi tuuletin peltipöydällä. Ison ikkuna-aukon sisäikkuna oli auki, mutta ulkoikkunaa ei uskaltanut avata. Hyvä niin. Yöllä (festivaaliviikonloppu) jatkui meteli kadulla klo 5 asti. Huoneen katosta roikkuneiden pölykarvojen imurointitarpeesta ja lavuaarin yläpuolisten valojen korjaamistarpeesta jätin tiedon lapulla respaan. Vessat ja suihkutilat (yhteiskäytössä, käytävän varrella) olivat siistit ja käytökelpoiset. Asiakaspalvelija (respa) Joby oli auttavainen ja hyväntuulinen.

Be warned, stay here ONLY if you HAVE to. Cheap and Very Very Basic, on the verge of nasty. Do not recommend. Given the wrong room , took a lot of work by me to sort the issue, as the reception worker had zero idea how to work in a hotel. Pay a little extra to stay elsewhere , you will thank me later. Got a room in the end that was not ready. ( what a circus ). Front door of hotel does not lock , so we were told the reception was open all night ( maybe it was open , but the receptionist was sleeping )

Kaikki sujui, mutta ei voi suositella

Huoneen ikkuna oli auki, eikä sitä ollut mahdollista sulkea yöksi. Henkilökuntaa ei ollut paikalla illalla, joten ei ollut mahdollista pyytää korjaamaan tilannetta, olisi tarvittu ikkuna-avain. Huoneessa oli siis melko kylmä. En suosittele talviyöpymiseen, ellei ikkunansulkumekanismia saada korjattua. Huoneen peilikaapin pistorasia ei toiminut, onneksi kuitenkin toinen pistorasia toimi. Vaikka kerrottiin, että paikalla on henkilökunta 24/7, niin ei kyllä ollut. Ystävällinen siivooja antoi minulle avaimet huoneeseen, ja pyyhkeet, mutta ketään ei näkynyt respassa koko yöpymisen aikana.

Yksi yö hostellissa kirjamessupäivien välissä

Huone oli kapea, viileä. Peräseinänkokoinen ikkuna tyylikäs, mutta vetoisa. Suurin osa ikkunasta säleverhon peitossa. Ikkunan erillinen alaosa oli himmennettyä lasia, joka kuitenkin hieman häiritsevästi läpäisi valoja ulkoa. Pinnat uudistetut ja siistit. Sisustus pelkistetty, asianmukainen. Huoneessa käsienpesuallas. WC ja suihku käytävällä. Aamiaisnurkkaus käytävällä. Keitin illalla kupillisen vettä; vedenkeitin ei ollut erityisen houkutteleva. Myöhemmin hostelliin saapunut meluava joukko hiljennettiin (henkilökunnan toimesta?) nopeasti. Jonkin verran liikenteen melua, äänekäs ilmastointi. Nukahdin helposti vilkkaan päivän jälkeen. Lämmin peitto pelasti vedolta ja viileydeltä. Aamuyöllä ilmastoinnin humina häiritsi. Korvatulpat auttoivat. Illalla ja aamulla ohitin pari hostelvierasta, jotka toivottivat hyvää yötä ja hyvää huomenta. Tunnelma rauhallinen ja ystävällinen.
