The rooms are all individual units (imagine clean, fancy shipping containers with nice vinyl flooring, bathrooms and windows) complete with patios, picnic tables and grills outside. We had just driven from Lima and had an encounter with corrupt cops on the way there, so arrived to the resort a bit shaken up, and the person checking us in went straight into fees and costs without even asking asking us how we were doing, how were our travels etc.. not what you expect from a 5 star hotel. Otherwise everything was great."
