"This was the most pleasant surprise of a 15 day trip that included nine different hotels. The bed was scrumptious, a huge bathtub that was so relaxing. Excellent coffee in the room and snacks. I got in a little late and I was able to have dinner and a cocktail in the rooftop bar without having to leave the property, it was super inviting and exactly what I needed. "

"This is a good option for people looking to stay in downtown DC on a budget at a decent room rate, in a Dupont Circle location that is convenient and very metro-accessible (right near bus routes, too). It is pretty basic as accommodations go, akin to a student hostel, and the rooms have a bit of wear and tear but are in decent condition. Noise filters in easily, especially if there's an event going on in the space below, and there won't be any microwave, fridge, or storage options. Staff are courteous and friendly. The downstairs bar has good food and drink options, and you are also steps away from Dupont Circle restaurants, night life, and attractions. "

"To be honest - my stay was not as pleasant as I expected, especially given the reputation and pricing of the hotel. I had requested a higher floor as when I woke up the next day ( I got to the hotel late at night) the first thing I saw was a dirty gray wall with bird poop all over it when I pulled the blinds, which took away from really seeing the view of the river. It was disappointed that no effort seemed to be made to accommodate this. I also asked about late checkout and was told it was not possible, which made the departure feel rushed. Another issue was the minibar being completely full with items for purchase, leaving no space for personal food or drinks, which was a bit inconvenient. On a positive note, the massage and facial at the spa was excellent and the therapists did a wonderful job. However, overall the service experience and general atmosphere did not meet my expectations. On the website says it’s “ unapologetically luxurious” and I just did not get that experience at all. "

"Hotel was nice. The staff there were friendly. Something was going on with the air not positive if it was broken or they don’t have central air due to different statements from team members but the room was unbearably hot."
