We had a lovely 1 week stay at the Blue Sun Jadran, it was clean and perfectly located near the beach and a promenade of shops and restaurants.

The hotel is a beautiful location, i suggest to book a room with a sea view - it’s definitely worth it. The water is clean, the beach is public so it’s pretty crowded but it didn’t bother me too much. The food, both breakfast as well as dinner is excellent the some of the staff at the restaurant would need a little bit more experience but overall it was fine.

I had a lovely stay overall. The hotel was really clean and the outside areas were beautiful for sitting out and eating. The only downsides were that the pool area was a bit small and some loungers got booked up early with towels, and a couple of loungers needed maintenance. Also, we noticed a bit of a wasp issue due to nests nearby, so hopefully that gets sorted soon. But apart from those things, it was a really pleasant experience!

Everything was perfect. The hotel was beautiful, and the spot on the sea was amazing. The staff was friendly, and the promenade was right there, so we were able to walk to all of the restaraunts.

Excellent food, great verity for everyone breakfast and dinner. Friendly helpful staff. Two pool areas with lots of sun beds. Nice walk into Makarska. Beer prices were reasonable especially compared to Dubrovnik. We got upgraded to superior room which was huge and very comfortable bed. Highly recommend and we plan on returning

Everything about this gem of a hotel was brilliant. The staff are amazing. Roberto the hotel taxi driver has so much historical knowledge, he is wonderful. The food is excellent, we would look forward to dinner every evening to see what delicious delights were in store Our only two niggles were as half boarders we still had to pay extra for drinks at dinner ( not at breakfast) even water which we found a little irritating. Most of the evening entertainment left a lot to be desired however it was finished at a reasonable time and only a minor niggle. Would definitely recommend this lovely place. We shall return. Oh and the sunset is beautiful over the islands

Upgraded room with private pool was excellent, very clean and modern, prepaid breakfast buffet was excellent and worth it. I paid also for buffet dinner 2 x with very good selection of food . Price for dinner under 40 Euros per person. Based on our experience in Plitvice jezera and Split this buffet was much better quality and value , local restaurants generally much pricier. Staf in hotel very attentive. Pools were great, clean, new. Location on the beach, no need to cross the road.

Excellent food and staff. Room service and front desk personnel is great and everyone is going above and beyond to meet your needs. Hotel doesn’t have shuttle, guests have to pay for beach chairs and umbrellas (except on the pool area), as well as for parking. As FIVE STAR HOTEL this should improve.

When we enter to the hotel, we are asked immediately to pay parking fee and was informed to pay chages for the sunbeds. This is very unpleasant as none of the information was written when I was booking the hotel. The receptionist only said I'm sorry. I will never stay at this hotel again. I'm sure there are plenty other hotels much the same price but including the parking, etc.

Beautiful place but some things need attention

Its was our 4th stay and it’s a beautiful place but….. The hotel is under new management and the change isn’t for better. Start charging 8€ per day parking 15€ per bed on the beach. The pool needs a good clean and surroundings as well it’s just little things but it shouldn’t be there in 5star hotel. The staff in Pink cricket restaurant and pool are are not the best. Very slow and forgetful. No pool service like before. Alcoholic drinks like Aperol,Hugo, cocktails are cheated. Not much alcohol in it and it looks like somebody had a sip already. Overall we had a good time like always but some things need to be changed.

Super hôtel

Très bel hôtel, cuisiniers au top, pain fait sur place, la personne à l'accueil très bien parlé plusieurs langues dont le français. Le petit dej est super et varié si vous déjeuner à l'anglaise (salé) par contre pour le petit dej à la française manque de variété dans les viennoiseries toujours les mêmes (croissant et cake. ) Le prix des boissons non seulement cher mais il faut rajouter 10% au prix affiché sur la carte. Pour un 5 étoiles personnellement je ne trouve ça pas bien. Nous avons fait d'autres hotel et restaurants en Croatie et c'est la seule fois où nous avions 10% de plus pour le service. Mise a part ça tout est parfait
