"A really wonderful place to stay. Our family of four booked a traditional Japanese room and thought it was perfect - plenty of space, a comfortable couch, a bathroom well appointed and arranged. We loved the onsen and chance to book a smaller private onsen as well. The lounge upstairs with deck area was great to relax afterwards. We were sorry to leave!"

"This is a very peaceful stay away from the big cities; the traditional Japanese room was an enjoyed by our family of four. The meals are traditional which was a great experience for our kids but one can request American type meal if you’re not partial to seafood/sashimi or different textures. The shuttle is a big bonus as they picked up our bags in the AM from the ferry terminal so we could explore the area unhindered. The staff are very gracious and welcoming. I would have liked to spend more...

"老舗ホテルで、8階の客室廊下に山本五十六大将の集合写真があり、感激しました。 少し、絵画が多すぎるようにも感じました。 夕食時の接客は、年齢が高めの女性スタッフが多く、丁寧で感じ良かったです。 温泉からの眺めは素晴らしかったのですが、館内が広く、お風呂にたどり着くまで、かなり歩くので、脚が不自由な方には少し厳しいかも　と思いました。"

"We loved staying here. The view of Itsukushima's torii gate, the mountains and the rest of Miyajima are beautiful. The kaiseki dinner and Japanese breakfast were delicious, and the public bath was clean and tidy. We had access to a private bath (by appointment), but were too tired to take advantage. There was also a gift shop downstairs with local gifts. The staff were helpful and friendly, and also dropped us off at the ferry at the end of our stay."
