Its location is also ideal, roughly halfway between Elafonissi Beach and the Balos Lagoon, making it a great base for exploring both. "We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was amazing, we wanted to stay longer! The food is delicious (some of our best meals were at hotel), service is excellent, beach is wonderful. They are beyond accommodating regarding food restrictions and allergies and make modifications AND remember your restrictions. Staff will serve food and drinks at beach. We had a delicious welcome cake at arrival. The ONLY thing was the plunge pool the room has is not heated. I hope to come back!"

"Our room was clean and spacious with a great view to the water. Our room was cleaned every day and there was plenty of parking available. Not sure what it looks like during the busy season though. The pool was nice but the water was cold. The pool is definitely not heated! Staff was friendly. We booked all inclusive. The food was ok but not exceptional. The drink options were also limited and the knock off Coke or Pepsi products did not taste good at all. But all in all we had a good time and a nice stay!"

"This was our second visit to Atlantica Amalthia. Very nice hotel. Everywhere was very clean, our room was a good size (we had a room in the building on the beach side) with nice balcony. Nice bar and restaurant. Breakfast room was nice and good choice of food. Very well kept beach. All of the staff were first class. So friendly, polite and extremely helpful. Visited the spa and had two massages during my stay and both were very nice and relaxing. Definitely recommend. Reasonable price. Didn't use the pool as it got busy very quickly. Sunbeds were very close together and not positioned well that you could get the sun all day. Whilst I enjoy swimming in a pool, we chose to stay on the beach each day. Good location with plenty of restaurants nearby. Recommend Sebastien next door. Absolute gem of a hotel and would definitely recommend it."

"The overall experience was good. The staff were very helpful and attentive. There was a bad smell in the first room we checked into, but they changed our room the next day, and the new room was much better. The housekeeping team also did a great job. The food and service at Zamana Restaurant were amazing as well. I have stayed at many five-star hotels around the world, and I would say the service here is definitely five-star. However, based on the condition and quality of the rooms, I wouldn’t consider the hotel itself to be at a five-star level."
