"Absolutely love this mom and pop place! This place has history and you can tell the owners and staff do there best to preserve this hidden treasure. I loved the way they reached out the day we were set to arive to confirm our arival and give us directions. This motel is tucked behind a gas station so convenient if you need a snack or any other item. Close to downtown, hot springs, farmers market and Elephant Butte. The best place in town!
"We stay here whenever we come to town, as we love it! We do miss the green Chiles, bacon or sausage during the week.I know it’s been a long while since the green Chiles were available at breakfast. The long haired guy that does the breakfast takes his time a bit too much. Others were waiting for plates for their food, some had to grab some from their rooms. Coffee seemed watered down and he’d leave the carafe on the machine after brewing and disappear. Other guests had to put it out. His lack of enthusiasm could be better. Never smiled. We were excited to have fresh brewed regular coffee this morning and sausage!! It was a different worker (we’ve seen him prior on our other stays) and he made sure things were well stocked for the busy crowds, and kept everything cleaned. And HE SMILES!!! We enjoy the restaurant across the street but didn’t want to pay for breakfast there every morning. "
