"I wish I could leave a better review. Facilities were nice and room was spacious and clean. Staff was kind.
Where it went south…TV did not work. Spoke with front desk twice, never came to fix it. My bed frame was broken, right side of the bed. Told front desk twice, no fix. As for new towels twice in the AM, no towels in the PM, went to front desk to get more. Zero housekeeping throughout the stay. Tried to cook in the room…stove vent would not come on, told front desk. Kitchen sink barely came on and in the shower, average water temp was like warm. Told front desk.
I haven’t left bad reviews. This is my first but when I was told they would look into it and didn’t happen. That’s a customer service issue.
Sorry folks. I will not return and cancelled my next stay. Rates were great but now I know why."
"While the staff was ok, this place is run down. We did not see any bugs and they are renovating but carpets are dirty, holes in bedding, paint chipped. Good location though."
Holiday Inn Express St. Louis West - O'Fallon by IHG
2/10 Terrible
"Old hotel and mediocre rooms. Stayed in room 116. Blood-stained sheets, holes in walls, door knob missing on bathroom door, markings all over door frame as if someone tried to break in or out. After thoroughly cleaning unit myself, I did not allow housekeeping to enter and maintained unit until departure. Free breakfast would have been more inviting if I had not witnessed guests barefoot and in dingy pj’s all over breakfast bar areas and kids picking crust out of their eyes and handling food items. Definitely had to eat outside of the bldg.
Note to Management: Stop refilling the bathroom soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers that are labeled “Dove” with cheap products because it was very obvious to someone who actually uses Doce products!"
"This was my third visit at Hampton Inn and I love the location, room layout and especially the breakfast. Front desk and house keeping staff are ALWAYS helpful and nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
