"No one took care of our check in. We waited for the staff to come for an hour in the rain but still no one showed up. Finally he guided on the phone to get in the apartment. This is ridiculous! The kitchenwares were all very dirty which couldn't be used if we didn't wash it ourselves. But there was no detergent provided. The washing machine and the toaster were very so dirty that we didn't try to use them. However the cleaning charge of £50 was still charged! We asked the staff to come twice...

And Hotel.com processed the reservation without any hesitation, apparently unaware of the self-imposed limitation. So I don't have any...

"Beautiful cottage in a fantastic, friendly village. It had everything we needed and was located close enough to the places we wanted to visit. Good local walks and a really nice pub over the road. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we are in the area."

" I didn't realise when I booked the hotel was on the motorway services. However we were able to use the service road to access in and out of the services without going on the M25. Room was clean everything you needed. The lady on reception was so helpful told us where to find local places to eat and even gave me the fan from reception for my room as it was so hot. It's not a luxury hotel but the service was fantastic and the room comfortable would definitely book again."

"This was just a 1-night stay before catching a flight in the morning. Nice and easy walk from train to hotel and from hotel to airport. Hotel offers breakfast at a charge, but we had to leave at 4:30 am so ate later. Good room - very, very small, but comfortable bed and great a/c. Check in & Check out staff were very friendly!"
