"Our stay at Cava Petra was SO rejuvenating. After a long week of sightseeing, this calm retreat in a stunning setting was just what we needed to restore before continuing our trip. "Not recommended for someone who is not up to the climb, the hotel, situated some distance up from the harbor, was wonderful for us. The location made the stay quieter, and the view lovelier. Mule transport (15 euros each way) made getting luggage in and out reasonably painless. The rooms were beautiful. We are not given to relaxing in hotel rooms much, but the wonderful ambience made us very happy to hang out there. The breakfast was great and the staff vary helpful."

"There was nothing to dislike. The apartment was clean & the kitchen well stocked . It was nicely furnished & we really enjoyed the old pieces of furniture. The owner was very friendly & helpful. He also met us at the ferry & lead us to the apartment which we probably never would have found on our own. We were greeted each morning with freshly baked buns which was a real treat!"

Our stay at Apollo resort hotel in Aegina
"Had 2 fabulous days at Apollo resort! Views of the sea were amazing and from our room! Staff were excellent and couldn’t do enough for you. We were offered a free shuttle from the marina to the hotel on arrival which was very handy. Pool was good and the sun beds on the rocks was a dream with steps into the sea for a dip. We loved the hotel and would definitely return some day!!! The marina is only a short walk away with shops and restaurants too!! "
