"This is a charming pousada on the edge of town but easy drive to town with a car. Breakfast and afternoon coffee were great, and staff extremely friendly and helpful, although not sure if they speak much English. Highl recommended! "

"The rooms and building were in good condition. Very comfortable rooms. The staff were very friendly as well. Recommended. The only 2 negatives are that the jacizzi hit tub was non functional and the water was extremely luke warm at best (cold side). As well,workers started renos at 7am all week and we feel this should have been managed better with a 9am start. It is a hotel after all. We were never warned about this event."

"It is really a beautiful spot and the neighborhood is as well. You are just a short and very pleasant walk from the historic center. The breakfast is excelllent, the staff and owner are all super friendly. I love the buildings and grounds which are done in authentic historical detail and construction. As an architect I really appreciated the quality and design. I would only suggest that they add TV's to the rooms and think about adding a swimming pool. It's such a beautiful spot it would...
