"Charming, family run hotel in a quiet section of Plauen, close to the city center. Breakfast included and really good. Staff helpful. Owner kind enough to sell me a beer even though restaurant had closed. She found me a charger for my IPad, Room was small but comfortable, clean and priced well. Book early, this hotel is popular and fills up fast."

"I had a big problem getting the key to the room. There was no note or message to explain how to get the key. I tried to call several times but there was no answer. It was a most challenging experience."

"Excellent hotel, friendly staff, clean rooms. Small kitchen, unfortunately without microwave. Hotel is located in a very quiet but beautiful surrounding. Not much to do in the village of Schöneck, so for restaurants or shopping you need to take a trip."

"Uns hat das Gesamtpaket von dem Hotel gefallen. Hervorzuheben war das Essen/hervorragende Köchin, sehr nettes Personal und eine schöne Sauna. Weiter so....."

"Zimmer wie im Krankenhaus und sehr kalt. Obwohl Heizung auf 5. Sehr harte und dünne Matratze, sehr dünne Decke. Sehr weite Wege. Entgegen der Beschreibung kein Restaurant vorhanden. Pool erst ab 20:00uhr nutzbar. Sauna nur gegen Aufpreis. Frühstück sehr überschaubar und keine 15€ Wert. "

"The spa, gym, and lake views are excellent. The hotel has a very 90's feel and no room service (this was a bummer as we had a lake view room and wanted to stay in and relax). The beirgarten by the water has excellent food, although it closes at 930pm (as does the only restaurant on site (a buffet). The place was comfortable for 1 dayx the lake location and sauna were exactly what we wanted"

"Great countryside overnight stay at the Bulow family! Easy parking just outside and very clean and comfy beds. Would def stay there again when travelling across Germany."
