"Excellent location and great number of things to keep you busy with, as we only book the accommodation on the day we arrived we really loved the experience. We arrived on Christmas Day and the restaurant was open and served a wonderful dinner. If we plan to go back to Germany we certainly will visit here again as it was one of our favorite stays. "Unser Zimmer war modern renoviert und ruhig. Ausstattung war gut, einzig die Kissen waren zu weich. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Großer Pool mit Blick ins Grüne. Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig, das Corona Prozedere dabei ist halt etwas umständlich, funktioniert aber. Die Musikauswahl im Frühstücksraum sorgt dafür, dass die Gäste dort nicht unnötig lang verweilen. Insgesamt durchaus empfehlenswert."

"Nice Bavarian cultural hotel with local foods. Lunch comes with limited options. Dinners were usually ok except one day. If you don't eat meat it is a bit hard to find something suitable to you. You may need to request room cleaning if you need. Great place for kids, they can navigate themselves above 3yo. "

"Wunderschönes uriges Hotel im typischen bayrischen Stil gehalten . Pool war angenehm und bei einer unglaublichen Aussicht konnte man die Seele baumeln lassen. Das Frühstück war essenziell gehalten , aber mit lokalen und hochwertigen Zutaten. Der Service war toll und wir haben uns erholen können . Klare Buchungsempfehlung."

"Das familiengeführte Hotel ist insgesamt sehr angenehm. Es hat sehr schön einegrichtete Zimmer mit einem modernen Bad. Herr Bugl ist sehr freundlich und umgänglich. Der Anlass meiner Reise hierher war dienstlich, dennoch konnte ich mich gut erholen. Wenn ich hier in der Gegend wieder einmal zu tun habe, werde ich wieder im Buglhof übernachten."

"Nicly situated hotel with beautiful view over Bodenmais. Pool, sauna, garden, restaurant and bar at the hotel. New proprietors (June 2025) which did everything to make us feel welcome and at home. A lot of out door activities avaliable in vicinity. Summer rodel was on our 12-year top list. Staying at Luca in Bodenmais gave access to a local activity card which gave really good discounts on a lot of activities - for instance was two tours with summer rodel at Silberberg, ski lift and tour in...
