"We stayed in Helena, it was very clean and well equipped. Concern about escape routes in the event of a fire. Some rooms didn’t have a large enough window to get out of. Swimming pool great, as was the hot tub. Lovely setting near Blandford. Would recommend getting shopping delivered as quite remote. "

Three bedrooms with a small kitchen and wet room. Nowhere specific to eat as a family but small tables in each room were fine. Had to phone on the day to get the key code. This could be made more obvious - or the owner could communicate more proactively. "

"The property was absolutely lovely. Perfect for what I was looking for. Close to the main town of Glastonbury as it took a short drive to get there. The accommodation was very clean. Towels and linen provided and kitchen equipment was very good. Bed was very comfy and I loved the lighting in there. Overall I enjoyed my stay. Would highly recommend and when I go back I would love to stay there again "

"Lovely week spent in this apartment. Very quiet, very comfortable, Well equipped. Very central. Lots of stairs which didn't bother us at all but might be difficult for others. Tesco supermarket within 5 minute walk. Would like to stay again on our next visit to Wells."

"We stayed here for 3 nights, the property was spotlessly clean on arrival. Parking at the cottage was a blessing as the road outside was busy with residents cars. An ideal base to explore Dorset, and several pubs within easy walking distance. Would stay here again."

"We enjoyed our 2 nights stay here. We were attending the New Wine festival at Shepton Mallet so needed somewhere to sleep! We didn't use many of the facilities as we literally got up & left for the day but there were plenty of facilities available! We slept like babies in the comfy bed! Lesley was a very helpful hostess & communicated often. She's even posting me back an item of clothing we left behind! The accommodation was comfortable, there was parking available too! We would highly recommend...

"Spotlessly clean accommodation. Stayed in studio apartment for 2 nights. Parking, access to property all very straightforward. Literally couple of minutes walk into Glastonbury town centre. Fabulous hosts. Continental breakfast supplied for 2 days. Perfect. Very communicative and prompt to reply to all questions. Will definitely book again. A treasure of a find. Thank you so much. "

"The White Hart is a stunning Grade 1 listed building with beautiful cozy decor. Our room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming and they had a fantastic food & range of beers & ciders (locally sourced)! It is conveniently located very close to Wells market, the cathedral and Bishops Palace. We would 100% recommend The White Hart to anyone who wishes to visit Wells"

"The room was large and clean and the nights were quiet and confortable. The staff were helpful and willing to adjust checkin and checkout times without imposing extra charges. Restaurant times were limited, 1 hour for breakfast and no evening meal served Sunday night. Breakfast is included in the price, though the selection of food on offer for breakfast is a lot less than you would find at, say, premier inn. So, in short, it is a small independent hotel and that has pros and cons."
