"Quick overnight while visiting son at UConn. Room was clean and comfortable, property was fine. Reasonably priced. Friendly staff."
Publick House Historic Inn and Country Motor Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"Although the it was busy and there were other guests and a wedding reception underway, it was quiet and restful. Highly recommend."
Howard Johnson by Wyndham Springfield
8/10 Good
"When I arrived I was not sure as it looked almost deserted, there were no cars. The desk clerk was pleasant and efficient answering questions about local amenities. He explained breakfast and wifi info. My room was clean and well stocked. The room was also warm. The bed was comfortable with ample firm pillows. Appliances were all in working order. My stay was for 3 nights. When I returned to my room on the next day I found that my room had been cleaned. My bed was made and my towels replenished. This service is one that many locations no longer provide with multi night stays. This happened every day. The parking lot had just been blacktopped. I interacted with several different persons at the desk and found all to be pleasant and helpful. Knowledgeable about the area, as well as events taking place. Breakfast was light, juices, cereal, yogurt, coffee, and toast. All were fresh and standard. Overall this was a great experience and I would choose to stay here again."

"We like the hotel rooms here. Cool design and nice and quiet. Staff was very polite and helpful when we needed them. The neighborhood on the weekends and evenings is really sketchy - you wouldn't want to go anywhere besides the parking lot, directly to the casino or your hotel room."
Graduate by Hilton Storrs
10/10 Excellent
"Always great, love location as being on U CONN campus! Graduate Hotel excellent in every aspect!"
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sturbridge by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"This was a great hotel - nestled off the road but in a great location. The young lady at check in was so kind and helpful. She answered my abundance of questions and made a great supper recommendation for us. Our youngest loved the pool and our two older made great use of the gym. Sturbridge was the cutest town and we would 10 out of 10 stay here again if we ever visit again."
Sturbridge Plaza Hotel

"Business friendly"
Red Roof Inn Hartford - Vernon
8/10 Good
"The location was ideal for a stop during a road trip. When I stayed there, the hotel was undergoing renovations, so there were some paint stains in the bathtub and the room was not as clean as it could have been due to the ongoing work. That said, I’m confident that the hotel will be very clean and beautiful once the renovations are completed. Overall, I think it will be a great place to stay once the work is finished."
