"Location was fantastic with the view from our second floor room of both the dunes to the east and Provincetown to the west. It is right on the bay beach. You can walk to the water without crossing a road. Staff was friendly and check in was easy. The environment here is damp and the property showed that a little bit. The room was a musty and the bathroom ceiling paint was peeling. But it was a very short drive to the center of P-town, it had comfortable beds, it was quiet, it suited our needs. If you need a fancier place you will have to pay more in this area. Otherwise Blue Sea is a fine choice."

"The room was very nice. Laid out well. Comfortable bed. We only had one day to spend in town and that day was rainy and cold so we couldn't take advantage of all the amenities. We would stay there again given the opportunity."

"Surfside is generally a great option for a bit outside of town center, with a nice view, decent sized rooms, nice staff and relatively quiet neighborhood. However, the current renovations have removed much of the sound-dampening aspects (especially the carpets), so it's quite loud if you're a light sleeper (and anyone is talking in the echo-ing hall or nearby vicinity, or they're doing construction outside). Not really specific to the hotel, but mid-May is fairly cold (with windchill) and amenities like the pool, firepit and bar weren't available. If you want a quiet and relaxed P-town experience (where not many people are around and half the places are not open or on reduced hours), mid-week in mid-May might be nice, but I recommend going closer to the main summer season."

"Everything you would need to be comfortable , nice pathway to beach that was not on sand and a easy walk, Cool seeing Thr lighthouse at the tip of cape cod in your backyard."

"The second floor, ocean-view suite is worth the extra money! Rooms are neat as a pin, and the gentleman who has checked us in every time we have stayed is simply delightful! Rooms and lobby decor have a mid-century modern vibe, and if you get a suite, you will have 2 huge bathrooms! I cannot rave about this place enough, and it’s a quick walk, bike, or drive into the action on Commercial Street….but then back to the peaceful ocean view when you want to recharge. "
