"A charming, family-run hotel! Perfect and peaceful location. Lovely breakfast (that is quite flexible if you don't arrive exactly in the time slot you book). The private dock was an amazing amenity, and they even delivered my (very tasty) lunch and spritz to the dock after I ordered it by the pool. 100% recommend staying here, and it is an amazing value for the price."

"Terrible check-in experience and rude management. We had an awful check-in experience. They tried to give us a room where the balcony directly faced another balcony, leaving us with absolutely no privacy as neighbors could look right into our room. When we politely expressed our dissatisfaction, the manager rudely shouted at us. We were told that because we booked a "cheap rate" through Expedia, they wouldn't help us or give us another room, and that we should contact Expedia instead. They explicitly stated things would be different only if we had booked directly. Appalling customer service. "

"Hotel is located on the outskirts of Verona and takes approx. 15 mins walk to the centre & approx. 10 mins to the station (which was a positive). Property is tired and requires a large investment for renovation. Hotel is classified as a 4 star but is more like a 3 star, rooms do not have an iron or ironing board, every day I had to request milk/cream for tea in my bedroom. A kettle was provided but the plug did not fit in the socket. European adaptors did not fit in many of the sockets. One particular day the rain was awful and when I returned to the hotel I asked if my trousers could be dried and was told "no". I questioned if they had a laundry service and was told that they were unable to launder my trousers, again, for a 4 star hotel I would expect this service to be available. TV in the room was not working and had to request maintenance to visit. Fridge in the room did not work and tap in the bathroom needed maintenance as each time you turned it on, it made an horrendous noise. Overall an 'OK' hotel but would not stay again if I was in Verona."

"Beautiful place, easy to find. Room was spacious, clean and well maintained. Staff were all lovely and very friendly. The whole setting, bar, pool area etc. were really nice spaces too. Highly recommended."

"Room with a great view over Lake Garda, sun terrace and jacuzzi - all excellent. Hotel had great location in an idyllic village complete with a castle and endless bars and restaurants in the pedestrianised end of Simione. You park a short distance away and then get a shuttle (golf buggy) to the hotel. We stayed at Como, Maggiore and Varese and this was the highlight."
