My husband works abroad most weeks, so when he was working near Sevilla we took the chance to book a long weekend break in Cadiz and we are so glad we did, this place is a little gem! The apartment has been fully restored to its previous glory. Overlooking (in my opinion) the nicest park in Cadiz. It had everything you could require for a comfortable stay, short or long term. The owner was lovely and very helpful and allowed us to check out late. It was literally a few minutes walk to everywhere. During the siesta times, when the shops close, we headed to the apartments communal rooftop terrace and just admired the amazing views with some jamón and cheese. On the Sunday it rained, but we were not bothered. It was lovely to relax in the apartment (something we never do!) with a glass of wine overlooking the park. We also headed back to the rooftop terrace after a late dinner to see the cathedral and town lit up at night and watch the lighthouse from the castle. We did plenty of historical sightseeing, walking and eating. Literally the restuarant next door is the best. Ending with a day of shopping before we left. The train is direct to either Sevilla and Madrid for flights, so was super easy to get too! We wouldnt definately return. …My husband works abroad most weeks, so when he was working near Sevilla we took the chance to book a long weekend break in Cadiz and we are so glad we did, this place is a little gem!
