Amanda was very friendly and attentive The room was clean and comfortable - the silence was so enjoyable!!! Breakfast was great. There is no luxuries, which with me that is just fine.

Amanda is really nice. I wish I had read more reviews/viewed more pictures, because I didn't realize that this is literally a large house in the middle of a subdivision, and didn't fit my idea of a BNB at all. I was really uncomfortable with not having a lock on my door, and I wonder if my credit card information was taken over the wifi, perhaps by other guests, because my credit card was compromised the following day. The driveway fits 3 cars, and there is no on-street parking after midnight. I was mildly unimpressed that I was asked to leave my car keys at the door so the owners could shuffle cars around. My room was in the basement and was cold but otherwise comfortable. It was nice to have an ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was simple but tasty.

A great place to stay near Toronto

My first b&b experience and it was very good. Amanda was very welcoming when I arrived. The room I stayed in with the private bath downstairs was clean and cozy. The temp was cool and just right for me. A good variety in the spread of breakfast. It's located in a quiet surrounding neighborhood. Safe. I had no problem parking in the driveway. The mall, shopping stores and the historic district was close, about a 5-10 minute drive. I stayed three nights and enjoyed it.

If I'm paying for here I'd rather book at a real hotel. You are basically living in a house whose owner yells at you for doing anything. There were also no locks on the door. I've never met a host this rude and unprofessional. It was like we paid them to get constantly yelled at. Please do not book here. Take your money elsewhere. ANYWHERE is better than this place where you'll be treated like decent human beings instead. tldr: If you book here you are paying to get yelled at. You have been warned.
