"It was as if taking a step back in time. Drifting off to sleep in a dark room with the snow falling through the positioned sliding windows as to not see any of the surrounding modern day buildings, was a marvellous experience that I shall treasure forever. "Got a 3 person japanesse style room. It was good, the hotel's sauna is very simple, so i recomend also exploring other saunas in the city, the room was good. "

"Very lovely older small onsen. Japanese style room was lovely. Futon was a bit old, thin, and firm, far from my first but noticable. Make sure to book dinner, its a walk to other options. Onsen was lovely."

"Absolutely over the top 3 day stay at this ryokan. We opted for meals inclusive and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of food. The staff was amazingly attentive! Please consider a pickup at Shinjo station, we took a cab, there is a public bus but it was a two hour wait and we had luggage. Can arrange for luggage storage at Shinjo station? When train service is restored from Shinjo to semi onsen station perhaps that will be a viable option. Yumeminoyado will pick up at Semi onsen station with prior notice. Email communications with the hotel was responsive also, appreciated that! Overall a fantastic stay, highly recommend! "

"Hotel and room good, has everything need, close to the station. The only thing was hard pillows and need to get a different pillow from reception. There only a few pillows so not enough for all rooms. Better to have a softer pillow in room anyway."

And the highlight for me was sitting in the natural onsen, both in daylight and below the night sky with snow falling, yet being warmed by the natural baths watching the world go by. 10/10 for me! Can't recommend enough!"
