Gorgeous rooms, but hotel has room for improvement

Overall the rooms are great and has an outstanding view of the lake. Restaurant is outright terrible, food was bad and bland, they can't cook a simple steak and charges 100 pesos for a Nespresso coffee. What we ordered for dinner was not the plates we received as they were sold out of common ingredients but never informed us, but just cooked something. Some of the staff is great - other staff members are so busy with their phones they can't even say hello.

Great hotel to stay in Valle de Bravo! only complain was the pool that was dirty the day we arrived and does not have a temperature regulator.

The hotel and room were fine. That said, I’m not sure how this hotel is rated a five star hotel. At best it’s a three star hotel. To make things worse, the street in front of the hotel is under construction, so we had to park at the bottom of a long, steep hill and carry our bags up to the hotel. There was no one to help us with our bags. For the price, I was very underwhelmed.

Es un lugar lindo. Bastante agradable el personal, el trato. Esta muy cerca del centro y de amenidades. La recámara de buen gusto. Tranquila relajando. Me encanta que los baños son bastante amplios. Suficientes toallas, excelente. La alberca se ve muy pequeña, no tuve oportunidad de usarla pero el resto es excelente.
