This former cardinal’s mansion built into the historic walls of Toledo was a wonderful place to stay. The original residence offers beautifully furnished common rooms. Our room was in the newest portion of the hotel and spacious with a truly massive bathroom with walk-in shower. There are two separate pools. Breakfast was included and offered a wonderful varied spread in a sunlit room.

We had four days at the beginning of June, this was our first visit to Toledo. we stayed in the new section of the hotel. The bedroom was lovely, the building is historic and beautifully decorated, breakfast was typical continental, but plentiful. Really loved the gardens and outdoor seating, well placed for walking within the historic part of the city. We walked to the train station on leaving, 20 mins easy walk downhill. If we go back would definitely stay here again!

An incredible property--built into the walls of the old city, with courtyards and fountains everywhere. Lovely room, great breakfast buffet. It is at the bottom of the hill, so you will definitely get a workout on your way to the historic sites of Toledo, but worth it!

Super amazing Place!

This place is amazing, the hotel is like a castle, super comfortable, big, a lot of rooms if you like to read, good restaurant, like a medieval place, which is awesome. I believe it is one of the best places I ever stayed. I highly recommend it to everyone who loves history and wants to relax.
