Fabulous hotel in a converted palace formerly owned by Eugenie, the wife of Louis Napoleon, of the Second French Empire. Restaurant dinners were somewhat limited in choice but excellently prepared. Fantastic location. Just remember Toledo is very hilly.

This hotel is outstanding in every respect. It is in a relatively quiet location in the old city, was very clean and definitely comfortable. The staff were accommodating, and the restaurant onsite was nice. It has a lovely parlor/central seating area with attractive bar and nice music.

What a stunning hotel in a stunning town! Eugenia de Montijo has it all: an excellent location, charm, cleanliness, comfort, and so much more. The hotel is in an excellent location in Toledo, within easy walking distance of plenty of restaurants, shops and tourist attractions. Despite being so central, it is situated on a quiet street, making it a peaceful place to stay. The room was the perfect size for a longer stay, with a generous wardrobe, bedside tables and a desk, all with plenty of storage. It was tastefully decorated and very comfortable, with an excellent mattress and lovely pillows. The rainfall shower was fantastic, and we really appreciated the bathrobe and slippers. The reception staff were friendly, polite and helpful throughout our stay. The room, corridors, staircase and lift were all clean and very well maintained. The only criticism I have is the walk-in shower. Although it is a generous size, it isn't completely enclosed, which means that water can splash onto the bathroom floor. Apart from this tiny detail, everything else was simply perfect. We absolutely loved our stay at Eugenia de Montijo and would happily return. Highly recommended!
