Only down fall was you needed to take a train a hour to two hours to go to the tourist spots , but that isn’t their fault , clearly you can book hotels closer to those spots !

"It was a really nice experience. It was great that we had to take our shoes off at the entrance it really sets the vibe tha this is a true Ryokan. The room was super clean and well thought out.
