"We had a really lovely stay here. We felt totally immersed in the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese Ryokan. The food was both delicious and always beautifully presented. We are really glad that we made this stop as part of our travels around Japan. Mount Fuji was mostly covered in isolated low level cloud, but we did get a gorgeous view once or twice.
Points to note are that there are no other facilities other than your room and dining room which is accessed at set, pre agreed times. Early...

"This is an onsen ryokan. A natural hot spring Japanese style inn. It is quiet and relaxing. If there is not an option for dinner when you book, contact the hotel directly (not Expedia). It is a must to participate in eating the multi course meal. Not only is it delicious, there is not much near by. Each night the menu changes, but it is a set menu. You will not be disappointed. Also, schedule your pick up at the train station.
