Top Tofino Hotel Reviews

Black Bear Guesthouse

Black Bear Guesthouse

10/10 Excellent
"We had a three night stay in the Cedar Room. The unit is compact but very well laid out, with a seating area with small fridge and small table and high chairs for eating your own light meals or snacks (as advertised there are no facilities to cook/heat food). There is a shower room with toilet and sink and a bedroom with some hanging space and storage - our suitcases slid under the platform bed. Clearly thought has gone into guests' convenience as the property provides waterproof coats, beach towels, beach blankets and the use of bicycles. There are chairs in front of the unit and there is a small deck with chairs for guests that overlooks the tidal inlet at the rear of the house. Thought and care has gone into the layout and the quality and character of the fittings, toiletries, towels and consumables. The only negative point was that we could hear fellow guests in the unit above us walking around during the night. We enjoyed our stay at the Guesthouse which made a great base for visiting Tofino (a 5km drive). Chesterton beaches were within walking distance."
