Solid value, incredible location

Nice hotel with a great pool and hot tubs right on the beach. Cerritos is pretty small and spread out so being right in the action is what you want. Relaxing, good food and drinks.

I love This hotel. It’s not perfect or luxurious, but it’s a perfect representation of the Baja experiences… simple beautiful beachfront location, authentic Mexican style, a good vibe.

I was skeptical that the property was located off the beaten path, but it was right on the beach with a great pool and amazing staff. Easy access to Todos Santos or Cabo, and we did not have a rental car. Staff assisted with all our requests, my son made friends everywhere, the food was delicious and the waves were working every day. I definitely recommend staying here.

The ultimate place to stay at Playa Cerritos. Literally at the beach, 100ft from waves. Villa, although outdated and in need of renovation had spectacular ocean views. Staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant and bar directly at beach. Good but expensive meals. Big pool with beds, loungers and chairs. Both jacuzzis did not work. Walk to 2 beach bars and restaurants. 20 minutes from Todos Santos.

We love the Cerritos surf town for the location. It is right on the beach with great views! We had the studio which is very rustic. No air conditioning and a small full size bed. We had a fan but a screen on the slider door would have been nice to keep the bugs out at night and let air in.

Can't beat the oceanfront location

Overall, this place is amazing. Staying in a beachside villa is so relaxing and beautiful. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. There were workers doing renovations and general upkeep all over the resort (but, in no way disruptive to our stay). I'm sure some of this was due to the hurricane that came through a few weeks ago, but the overall resort was clean and in great shape. Cerritos does have some electricity issues, but that is an overall city issue. I would absolutely stay here again if I go back to Cerritos

Beautiful place, just in need of a couple tweaks

Overall, this is a great resort in an amazing location. There are however, some things that made it a 4 star stay rather than 5. First, they put us directly next to the kitchen and loud restaurant music, despite their low occupancy and they refused to move us until the following day. As a result, my baby had trouble sleeping, and thus so did I. Second, the swimming pool is beautiful and large; but the surface is so rough that it will cut up your feet if you're not careful. My kids swam with water shoes to avoid cuts. Third, the restaurant is over priced and service is mediocre. The servers stand around instead of proactively picking up all the leftover beer bottles and towels surrounding the pool. Finally, I found it off-putting that the resort charges extra for their beach chairs and umbrellas. That's typically included with the cost of a hotel. We ended up buying a surf lesson from a shop down the beach that was less expensive and included chairs & umbrellas all day. On a more positive note, the location cannot be beat. I love that it's a smaller property instead of a giant hotel. The grounds are beautiful. Gabriel was the most helpful and friendly employee- gave us a lot of great recommendations. We would return again.

Cerritos Surf Town casita was perfectly situated on beautiful Cerritos beach. It was quite & clean but unfortunately the casita is in dire need of updating. Peeling paint, stained toilet, cold shower and extremely uncomfortable seating and bed. Both hot tubs on the property were luke warm. Not worth $220US/night.
