A great stop in the middle of a long trip

Was tired and was not going to reach Queretaro that night coming from Mexico CIty so we atopped just before the toll station in Tepozotlan. The hotel is a few hundred meters from the toll station, clean, comfortable, good breakfast, just what we needed.

They give 1 small bottle of water , 3 pillows . There are 2 of us in the room. These are small things that matter and don’t cost much. Room was small . No restaurant, room service was very mediocre

Good, not great.

Slept well with the blackout rolling shades. Comfortable beds. The bathroom didn’t have an exhaust fan so leaving the door open was a must while showering. The shower curtain was too short which lead to a soaked floor every time I showered. I had to use 2 towels to soak up all the water after the shower. I had to get clean towels every day, something I absolute hate doing. Not a very eco friendly situation :( The staff was super friendly except for 2 ppl, tall young door guy and Zaira at the front desk. I had to visit the front desk about 4-5 times to reactivate my key. I had the displeasure of dealing with Zaira for this particular reason. She was extremely rude and told me the reason my key was no longer working was bc I had to pay my laundry bill. I asked her “ so what’s the excuse for having this issues 3-4 times prior to sending my my laundry out?” Needless to say, I had no response from her.
