"This is a uniquely situated, rustic property, run by lovely people. You will get a real experience of deep Morocco in the High Atlas if you visit. The area is incredibly beautiful. A magical experience. But be aware - this hotel is situated off road. To get here you will need a high clearance SUV if conditions are good. If they are not, a 4x4. "We had the most amazing night at We Agafay with our 11 year old daughter. The tent was spotless and warm on a chilly night. The organised camel ride at sunset was a highlight and the camels looked very well and healthy. The evening dinner and entertainment was brilliant especially the talented musicians and the brave fire performers. Hiking in the lower altitudes of the Atlas Mountains is gorgeous. Zipping through almost ten Berber villages in a few hours, you truly are able to see how the local people live in each of their villages. Chickens are running around, kids playing football, and the women are socialising amongst themselves. It's always comforting to know that there are still parts of the world that do not require much technology to maintain healthy social relationships between people.
