The hospitality was unique and we got a lot of recommendations for fantastic walks in Valtellina's vineyards, restaurants, etc. The breakfast, cleaning and the service we experienced was extraordinary. "Spacious room and bath, short walking distance from Tirano’s train station as well as to breakfast and dining options. Ground floor rooms have access to an enclosed yard which is useful for drying clothes in the sun. Top service from its staff!"

"4 minute walk to the train station. Check in is at a different hotel right at the train station. Wait for the staff to walk you over to the room, it’s worth the wait. We tried to find it ourselves and got a bit confused both where the hotel entrance was and what floor our room was on. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were not great but we managed. The safe didn’t work but it wasn’t an issue for us. There is no AC but the 2 fans in the room and a cool September evening made that ok. Overall a good place to stay one night on a trip to or from the Bernina Express. We both were well tested after our stay."

"The staff at the Terra hotel were extremely friendly and very helpful. The hotel itself was very clean and very modern. It was all very well looked after and very clean. The room was exactly what we were looking for. Even though we only stayed one night, it was a highlight of our trip for sure. The free breakfast was also excellent. There was plenty of choice and a good amount of food provided. I would highly recommend the Terra Hotel to anyone looking to stay in Tirano."
