"Beware of the room you are given. My wife, myself and my 2 kids (5 and 7) were given a room that only had 1 single bed and 1 double bed. Ended up pushing the beds together so the kids didn't fall out of bed. Terrible. I tried messaging the hotel prior to arriving to query this, but messages were not replied to. Also, we stayed here last year (with a room that accommodated us), and the food last year was vastly superior. Pizza last year was rustic, and home made style. This year the pizza bases looked and tasted like ready made from Tesco. Really unpleasant."

"Stayed overnight between business trips. Check in took about 30 seconds (the chap said about 3 words, seemed really miserable). Room hot, no air con, very basic. Walls very thin, could hear everything from other rooms (including a man peeing multiple times, tv on next door very loud at 5am, and another man stood outside on the phone at 6qm). Only saving grace was a decent breakfast. Didn't get chance to try the pub, but looks nice, just hope they have some happy staff! I won't be staying again"

"Excellent location in Worthing opposite the railway station. The staff could not have been more lovely and helpful. I could not have had a better reception and support throughout the stay. Very upbeat and can do. I asked for a quiet room which was noted( does not often happen) so had a room at the back of the hotel. The room was excellent, comfortable bed and all the amenities you require. Nice decor and ample towels. Impressive shower with waterfall shower head as an alternative to the regular version. The view from the room was the only draw back as not the nicest but another location might have been less peaceful. Maybe a brisk clean of the roller blind chains would be good. Impressed with Netflix on the tv and the WiFi signal was great. I had dinner and breakfast at the hotel which were of a very good standard, again morning staff were really pleasant and positive. The bar/ restaurant is very welcoming and as a solo traveller I felt completely relaxed in the environment which again is not always the case. This hotel is definitely recommended for the quality of staff, room, location and atmosphere."
