Top Tillicoultry Hotel Reviews
Mercure Livingston Hotel
8/10 Good
"Really lovely staff which made this review more stars than it would have been otherwise. Girls at front desk and wait staff especially kind, welcoming and joyful. Close and easy access to Edinburgh. Hotel is nice in someways and outdated and needing of a revamp in others but surprisingly clean and comfortable despite this. Linens, bathrooms etc were very clean. Bed was comfortable. Nice view of the court yard. Window opened wide to let some air through which I was grateful for. Very strong smell of chemical air fresheners through the hallway which gave me a headache but probably better than whatever the smell is covering up. Kettle in our room was honestly a fire hazard as steam was coming out of the switch. I was going to tell the staff on the way out but we were in a rush and didn’t see anyone at front desk. Definitely needs replacing before someone gets hurt. Food was really good well priced and plentiful. Perfect place for a stop over."

Richmond Park Hotel

"Excellent view and very good bed, but hairdryer wasn’t working."
The City Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Brilliant stay, couldn't recommend more! room was super clean. bathroom looked brand new, there was a mirror with heating & backlight! hotel was bigger than i expected, so i was pleasantly surprised by the experience. location is great, staff were great, breakfast was included with a varied selection, all the staples (full breakfast, benedict, eggs on toast, porridge, cereal, fruit, tea/coffee/juice etc) available with choice of hot/cold options. check in and check out was easy, staff all very friendly, will be recommending it and staying again, if needed. Dunfermline abbey is basically across the road and a big park nearby for a bit of sightseeing, the airport is about 30min drive away (depending on traffic) and Edinburgh city centre about 30-40min as well."
Norton House Hotel & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful resort just on the fringes Edinburgh, spectacular spa facilities. The room was spacious, clean, with lots of character. The indoor swimming pool is clean, modern, with sauna room, hot tub and other amazing alternatives to relax. We travelled by car and we found it very easy to visit the old city by dropping our vehicle in the nearby park and ride and catch a tram from there. The restaurant is great, excellent steakes, atmospheric and a gigantic pizza for the kid...the only small complain is that the service was a bit distracted for this kind of fine dining experience, asked for the dessert menu three times then decided to just ask the bill. Just a minor issue, overall great experience and we'll try other options from the same hotel chain closer to home."
