The rooms are newly renovated and so we’re in very good condition. The pool is also well maintained. The hotel has a spa room and sauna room also in good condition. Unfortunately though, the fitness room was in poor condition. The hotel overall is in good condition. Whilst not in the city center, buses are available only 300m away. Overll, I would def stay here again.

We got a room with a leaking air con, the carpet was soaked with water and bad smell... The man in charge tried to repair for an hour, and finally offered some discount but no other room.. We left the place after wasting couple hours....

Basic services - no poll etc as winter, no meal services other than breakfast so resulting in a taxi or drive 'down' into the town. Room & bathroom very dated, yes that means, seriously due an overhaul.

Rooms are in bad need of an update, but there are some positive attributes. Very nice pool which we could not use as was off season. Believe all rooms have lakeside view and nice balcony. Breakfast was acceptable as well as dinner, but roof needs replacement as buckets in place in middle of room to catch rain water. Bed was fairly comfortable, but carpet and bathroom were mid 1990’s vintage forest green. Parking seem limited but was acceptable, and WiFi was ok. Staff not very friendly, so don’t expect a warm greeting.

NECESITA MEJORAR SERVICIO Y HABITACIONES

Las áreas comunes del hotel como el lobby, restaurante y piscina están muy bien, hay una vista preciosa y tiene una buena ubicación. Lamentablemente, el servicio no es bueno, las personas que atienden el hotel no son amables. Si eres extranjero es indispensable llevar tu pasaporte y una hojita pequeña de migración que entregan en el aeropuerto cuando entras a Israel, de otra manera te cobran el impuesto y no hay manera de recuperarlo. Las habitaciones no son muy bonitas, no hay camas matrimoniales, sino que juntan dos camas individuales en el caso de que duerman dos personas en una habitación. Son demasiado sencillas para el precio que cobra el hotel, que es alto. Solo los primeros 4 niveles tienen vista al lago, así que hay que asegurarse de hacer la reservación en las habitaciones que tienen vista. Sí tiene el desayuno incluido y es bastante bueno.

A nice hotel that needs refurbishing

Very good breakfast and a nice and clean pool. The Jacuzzi is small, unclean and needs refurbishing. The Sauna is heated at demand, and it wasn't hot even after half an hour.

A stay with a good view of the lake

The location is away from the city centre and the place is quiet and peaceful. Good view of the lake and breakfast was good - cold & hot meals. Don't expect much service but staff is friendly and helpful. I guess it's because they only have 3 to 4 staff to serve the whole dining room. Check in & out was smooth and no problem with parking unless you come back late at night and the tour buses would block the hotel parking lots. Aircon, heater and shower work well. Room size is reasonable to allow us to leave our luggage open during our stay. All the holy sites around the lake area is within 30 minutes driving range. I would stay here again if I should visit Tiberias.

The Golan Hotel is ok. The staff were efficient but not friendly, the food was mediocre...not great, the rooms were just alright but we did not feel the comfort we expected for the price we paid. That being said, it was fairly clean and the location was great. The view from the pool is also spectacular!

Great staff - 3.5 rating

The hotel staff was great! If there was a rating for friendliness then the hotel would get a 5. However, my room was not very clean and that was disappointing. We stayed when the pool was not in service and that was one of the selling points for me when booking but that was my fault for assuming. I give a 3.5 out of 5.

el personal es de lo mas amable siempre tratando de ayudar a que tu estancias sea placentera lo que si al que no le gusten los mosquitos pues no lo recomiendo porque por estar en el mar hay muchísimos aunque el hotel esta climatizado y le advierten a uno de no dejar abiertas ventanas

Decent plays to stay in Tiberias

The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the downtown area; the drive is shorter, but a bit roundabout. The hotel facilities are relatively pleasant. The price of the room seemed high relative to the amenities. Staff were pleasant. Overall it is a decent place to stay, but without the distinction of special location or amenities.
