"Our room was well appointed with a western motif, huge shower with good pressure and plenty of hot water, stone gas fired fireplace, bed was very comfortable. Would have liked a table and chair, and dining is 20 minutes away and there is nothing to do after dark. But we were there for a wedding and it is a great venue for that or for those who want to get away without going rustic. Beautiful setting in the woods and friendly, helpful manager/owner."

-friendly place, which is fine by me, but my room's carpeting was sadly in need of a major cleaning, and my guess is that

problems exist. My room-mate even commented that the rooms smelled of a wet

when we checked in. Perhaps a surcharge to cover the cost of extra cleaning might be a solution."
